Since1917, PennCoil
has manufactured high voltage stator coils. As improved
insulations become available, PennCoil redesigns its insulation
systems incorporating these products. The newest technology,
present in the current insulation system, includes;
-
Improved conductive tapes for the slot section.
- Improved
stress grading tapes outside the slot.
- Improved sealing
tapes on the coil arms to significantly improve flexibility
for easy installation.
Additionally, the new AC stator form
coil state-of-the-art process produces the highest quality,
whether one set or a volume order. PennCoil stator coils
have passed the IEEE Standard 1043 AC Voltage Endurance
Test, equivalent to 30 years of service and a 1,000 hour
endurance test in PennCoil’s new in-house high-voltage lab.
Coil-by-coil, station-by-station inspections and tests assure
these results are validated in every coil order.

of all types (wave wound, lap wound, frog legs, two part, double and single knuckles). Standard is Class F or H. All other insulations are available, as well.
to 15kV are manufactured in all shapes and sizes, with insulation tailored to your specifications. Class F is standard. Coils can be sealed or VPI’d, or delivered green for VPI. Roebel Bars match stator coil in precision and quality. Both coil types meet or exceed IEEE standards.
of all sizes and service are tough, impervious to contamination and thermal degradation, and designed for performance in the harshest environments.
of all types are achieved with PennCoil’s decades of experience, reverse engineering, design and insulation expertise. This includes brake and magnet coils, both well-tested, well-priced PennCoil designs, with improvements and insulations exceeding OEM standards to eliminate problems common to these coils Visit www.penncoil.com for more information, to request literature, or contact us for technical information or quotes.
